  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 1 c. butter
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 4 c. flour
  • 1/2 to 1 c. chopped walnuts

Directions

    Cream butter with sugars.

    Add beaten eggs.

    Add spices and then stir in flour and nuts.

    Mix well.

    Form in a roll in wax paper and put in icebox overnight.

    The next day slice thin and bake in a hot 400° oven about 8 minutes.

    Watch close so they don't burn.
