- 1 loaf English muffin bread
- 8 eggs
- 3/4 lb. grated Longhorn cheese
- 8 oz. cream cheese
- 2 c. milk
- 1 cube margarine
- 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 Tbsp. chives
- dark cayenne to taste
- shrimp, crab, bacon or sausage (optional)
Directions

1Spread bread with butter and cream cheese and cut into cubes. Place evenly in a well-greased casserole.

2Beat together eggs, milk, salt, pepper and chives.

3Pour over bread cubes; add grated cheese.

4Refrigerate covered overnight.

5Bake covered for 1 hour at 350°.

6Continue baking uncovered for 10 minutes.
