- 3 1/2 qt. water
- 1 pt. vinegar
- 1/2 c. salt
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1/4 tsp. turmeric (optional)
- pickling spices
Directions

1Wash and pack pickles in gallon jug.

2Pour brine over pickles and let stand 24 hours.

3Bring above mixture to a full boil. Place garlic cloves and dill in the jar.

4Pour brine over pickles and tighten lid on jar.

5Refrigerate jar after it is completely cooled.
