- 1/2 cup smoked brown sugar
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/2 cup fresh ground pepper
- 1/2 cup dry chopped onion
- 1/2 cup chopped garlic
- 1/2 cup Lawrys garlic salt
- 4 lbs tri tip
