- 5 c. flour
- 5 tsp. baking soda
- 2 tsp. salt
- 3 c. sugar
- 1 (15 oz.) box Raisin Bran
- 1 c. melted shortening
- 4 eggs, beaten
- 1 qt. buttermilk
Directions

1In a large bowl, mix flour, baking soda, salt and sugar, being sure that baking powder is well blended.

2Stir in the Raisin Bran, then the shortening, eggs and buttermilk.

3Store in a tight container in the refrigerator.

4Bake in greased muffin pans as desired at 400° for 15 to 20 minutes.
