- 2 potatoes, peeled and sliced thin
- 1/2 c. sliced carrots
- 1/2 c. sliced celery
- 1/4 c. sliced onions
- 1/2 lb. hamburg
- 1 can tomato soup
- 1/2 to 2/3 c. water
- salt and pepper
Directions

1Brown hamburg and drain well.

2Layer the hamburg and vegetables in a 2-quart well-greased casserole.

3Reverse the layers of vegetables, ending with potatoes.

4Season potato and meat layers with salt and pepper to taste.

5Mix the tomato soup with the water. Pour over top of layers.

6Dot with butter.

7Cover with foil.

8Bake at 350° for 1 1/2 hours.

9Serves approximately 6.
