- 1 1/2 c. butter (3 sticks)
- 3 c. sugar
- 5 large eggs
- 3 c. all-purpose flour
- 2 Tbsp. lemon extract
- 3/4 c. 7-Up (original)
Directions

1Cream sugar and butter together; beat until light and fluffy, about 20 minutes.

2Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.

3Add sifted flour.

4Fold in, beat lightly.

5Add extract and 7-Up.

6Beat 1 to 2 minutes.

7Pour batter into well-greased and floured 12-cup Bundt pan.

8Bake at 325° for 1 to 1 1/4 hours.

9Cool 15 minutes.

10Turn out of pan onto a rack.

11May dust with powdered sugar.

12Keeps well.

13Room temperature or freeze.
