- 3 sticks butter (do not use margarine)
- 3 cups sugar
- 5 eggs
- 3 cups flour
- 2 tablespoons pure lemon extract
- 3/4 cup 7-Up (room temperature)
Directions

1Mix butter and sugar until light and fluffy, about 15 minutes.

2Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.

3Add 3 cups flour and 2 tablespoons pure lemon extract. Mix well and fold in 7-Up.

4Pour into a well greased and floured bundt cake pan.

5Bake 1-1 1/4 hours or until cake test comes out clean. Do not overbake.

6Sprinkle top with powdered sugar or use a lemon glaze.
