- 1 c. butter, at room temperature
- 1/2 c. solid Crisco
- 6 eggs
- 3 c. sugar
- 3 c. cake flour, sifted
- 8 oz. 7-Up
- 2 tsp. lemon flavor
- 2 tsp. vanilla flavor
Directions

1Mix according to normal pound cake mixing instructions.

2Pour into greased and floured tube pan.

3Bake in preheated 325° oven for 1 to 1 1/2 hours.

4Cool in pan about 5 minutes before removing.

5Complete the cooling on cake rack.

6Frost as desired or leave plain.
