- 1 (3 oz.) pkg. lemon or lime gelatin
- 1 c. boiling water
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, broken in small pieces
- 1 (No. 2) can crushed pineapple, drained
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 c. nuts, chopped (optional)
- 1/2 c. maraschino cherries or pimento (optional)
- 1 c. 7-Up
- 1 c. celery, chopped (optional)
Directions

1Dissolve gelatin in boiling water; add cream cheese.

2Beat with electric mixer at low speed until smooth.

3Stir in pineapple, sugar, vanilla and nuts (if desired).

4Add 7-Up.

5Stir, when partially set, to keep nuts from coming to the top.
