Ingredients

  • 6 to 8 c. chicken broth
  • 2 c. cubed cooked chicken
  • 2 c. frozen mixed vegetables
  • 1/2 c. chopped celery
  • 1/4 c. chopped onion
  • 1/4 tsp. thyme leaves
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 c. alphabet macaroni
  • salt and pepper to taste

Directions

    In a large pot, combine broth, chicken, vegetables, celery, onion, thyme and bay leaf. Bring to boil; reduce heat and stir in macaroni.

    Simmer for 12 to 15 minutes, or until vegetables and macaroni are tender.

    Remove bay leaf.

    Salt and pepper to taste.
