- 1 c. chopped pecans or walnuts
- 1 pkg. yellow cake mix with pudding (2 layer size)
- 4 eggs
- 1/4 c. oil
- 1/4 c. water
- 1/2 c. Bacardi rum (80 proof dark)
Directions

1Sprinkle nuts evenly in bottom of greased and floured 10-inch tube or fluted cake pan.

2Combine cake mix, eggs, water, oil and rum in a large mixing bowl.

3Blend, then beat at medium speed with mixer for 4 minutes.

4Pour into pan.

5Bake at 325° for about 1 hour or until cake tester comes out clean from center of cake or cake begins to pull away from side of pan.

6Don't underbake.

7Cool in pan.
