- 1 can (17 oz.) cream-style corn
- 1/2 c. brown sugar
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1 c. oil
- 1/2 c. raisins
- 1/2 c. pecans or walnuts
- 2 1/4 c. flour
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 tsp. soda
- 1 tsp. salt
- 3 tsp. baking powder
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350°.

2In mixing bowl, mix corn, brown sugar and sugar.

3Beat in eggs, one at a time.

4Add oil and beat until well mixed.

5Stir in raisins and nuts.

6Sift together dry ingredients; add to liquids all at one time and stir until well blended.

7Pour into greased 9 x 13-inch pan.

8Bake 35 to 40 minutes (until tests done).

9(Cake may also be baked in 2 layer pans.)

10Frost with caramel or cream cheese frosting.
