Ada's Pork Chops Recipe

  • 6 x Pork chops A smear of oil
  • 1/4 c. Onion soup mix
  • 3 ounce Sliced mushrooms
  • 2 Tbsp. Flour
  • 1 can (6 ounce) (2/3 c.) evaporated lowfat milk Parsley for garnish

Directions

    Trim fat off pork chops.

    Brown chops in oil in a heavy skillet.

    Drain off any fat.

    Mix 1 c. water to onion soup mix.

    pour over the chops.

    Cover skillet and simmer till chops are tender (40-45 min).

    Add in evaporated lowfat milk and mushrooms to pan.

    Combine flour and 1/4 c. cool water.

    Blend into pan juices.

    Cook and stir under low heat till thick and bubbly.

    Sprinkle with parsley.
