  • 1 (22 oz.) can apple pie filling
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 c. melted margarine

Directions

    Empty filling into an 8 x 8-inch square pan.

    Sprinkle with cinnamon to taste.

    Beat egg slightly; add vanilla.

    In another bowl, mix the next 3 ingredients.

    Add egg; mix until crumbly. Distribute evenly over pie filling.

    Pour butter over top.

    Bake in moderate oven (375°) for 30 minutes, or until golden brown. Serve warm with ice cream.
