- 4 lb. apples
- 1 to 1 1/2 c. water
- 3 to 4 sticks cinnamon
- 1/2 to 1 c. sugar
Directions

1Core apples; cut into quarters and peel.

2Place apples in a large pan.

3Cover with water.

4Add cinnamon and bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer 10 minutes.

5Remove cinnamon. Remove from heat and mash until smooth.

6Stir in sugar.

7Cover and refrigerate.

8Makes about 10 servings.
