- 6 tablespoons cornstarch
- 3 1/2 cups milk
- 1 1/4 cups sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon cardamom seed
- 1 -2 tablespoon finely ground pistachios
Directions

1Mix the cornstarch with enough milk to make a smooth paste.

2Heat remaining milk until hot, but not boiling.

3Add the sugar, whisking constantly (very important to the end result!), and add the cardamom seeds.

4When the milk is hot and the sugar is completely dissolved, slowly add the cornstarch paste, again, whisking constantly.

5Bring the mixture to a boil, lower heat and simmer for 3-4 minutes.

6Pour into a serving dish and sprinkle pistachio over top.
