Ingredients

  • 1 jar Clamato juice
  • 2 (5.5 oz.) cans hot and spicy V-8 juice
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1 Tbsp. dill weed
  • Worcestershire sauce to taste
  • Tabasco to taste
  • 3 envelopes plain gelatin
  • 1 small can minced clams
  • 1 c. chopped celery
  • ripe olives and/or artichokes or shrimp (if using shrimp, omit minced clams)

Directions

    Dissolve gelatin in 1 can of V-8 juice; set aside.

    Bring to a boil first 7 ingredients and lower heat and cook for about 5 minutes.

    Fold gelatin mixture into hot mixture.

    Pour into bowl and chill until mixture begins to congeal.

    Stir in clams, celery, etc.

    Pour into a large salad mold or individual molds.

    Serves 10 to 12.
