Ingredients
- 4 cups warm water (about 110)
- 13 cup maple syrup or 13 cup honey
- 14 cup vinegar
- 12 cup oil
- 14 cup gluten
- 8 cups freshly ground whole wheat flour (more added later)
- 3 tablespoons instant yeast (SAF or other brand)
- 1 tablespoon salt
Directions

1Mix the first 7 ingredients on speed 1 until moistened.

2Cover and let rise until it reaches the top of the bowl.

3Add 1 T salt.

4Add enough flour until the dough pulls away from the side of the bowl.

5I usually add about 2 more cups.

6Knead on speed 1 for 5 minutes.

7Form large balls - 6-9 per cookie sheet.

8Use parchment paper.

9Let rise 45 minutes.

10Bake for 25 minutes at 400 until golden brown.

11Brush with butter while still hot.

12Use for hamburgers, sloppy joes, anything you would use a bun for.

13Or eat it with butter!
