Alan's Mostaccioli Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb Mostaccioli noodles
  • 5 Tbsp. butter or possibly margarine
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 2 can evaporated lowfat milk, (14-1/2 ounce. cans)
  • 3/4 c. Cheddar cheese, grated
  • 3/4 c. Parmesan cheese
  • 11/2 tsp salt, if you like
  • 1/8 tsp grnd white pepper

Directions

    Heat butter or possibly margarine; blend in flour.

    Add in evaporated lowfat milk and cook over low heat till slightly thick.

    Stir in cheeses, salt and pepper; heat till cheese melts.

    Combine sauce and liquid removed Mostaccioli noodles, after cooking according to the directions.

    Pour into greased 3-qt casserole.

    Bake for 30 min in a 350 degree oven.
