  • 1/2 lb hamburger
  • 1/2 c. uncooked rice
  • 2 lg or 3 sm potatoes
  • 1 can green beans
  • 1 sm can stewed tomatoes
  • 1 taco seasoning mix

    Dice potatoes.

    Mix hamburger and rice together. Make into 12-14 balls then fry lightly in frying pan. Transfer into a large sauce pan and add 2 c. water and taco mix. Simmer for 45 min. Then add potatoes and simmer for 20 more min.

    Add beans stewed tomatoes (juice too), simmering for about another 30-35 min. or until potatoes are cooked. Serve alone or with cooked rice.
