  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon white wine vinegar
  • 12 teaspoon salt
  • 12 teaspoon pepper
  • 18 teaspoon grated nutmeg (optional)

Directions

    Place the cream and butter in a saucepan and heat over medium heat.

    Once all the butter is melted, add the Parmesan cheese.

    Stir the cheese.

    in with a whisk until it is well incorporated.

    Bring to a simmer and cook over medium-low heat for 5 minutes.

    Add in the vinegar, salt, pepper, and nutmeg (if desired).
