  • 1 1/2 lb. meat, cubed
  • 6 medium carrots, cut into 1 1/2-inch pieces
  • 10 small onions
  • 28 oz. can tomato puree
  • 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 2 c. celery, cut in 1 1/2-inch pieces
  • 6 medium potatoes, peeled and quartered
  • 1 Tbsp. salt
  • dash of pepper (or 1 Tbsp. sole seasoning)

Directions

    Heat oven to 250°.

    Combine meat, veggies and potatoes in 3-quart casserole.

    Mix tomato puree, salt, pepper and cornstarch. Pour into casserole.

    Stir, cover and bake at 250° for 5 hours. Yields 6 servings.
