- 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
- 1 c. sliced raw onions
- 1/4 c. chopped bell pepper
- 2 c. sliced raw potatoes
- 1 c. chopped celery
- 2 c. canned tomatoes
- 4 slices cheese
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions

1Saute ground beef until brown; drain.

2Place alternate layers of beef and fresh vegetables in greased casserole dish in order listed.

3Add salt and pepper.

4Pour tomatoes over all and top with cheese.

5Dot with butter.

6Cover and bake in 350° oven for 1 1/2 hours.
