- 6 slices toasted bread, cut into cubes
- 1 c. diced celery
- 1 small onion
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- pinch of pepper
- 1 stick margarine or butter
Directions

1Cook the onion and celery for 15 minutes in margarine and 1/2 cup water.

2Save the water from the celery and the margarine.

3Mix bread cubes, celery, onion, salt and pepper with 1/2 cup of the reserved liquid to moisten.

4Bake 35 minutes in a covered casserole pan or use as a stuffing in fish, beef roll-ups, poultry, etc.
