  • 2 sq. margarine
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 egg, separated
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1/4 tsp. soda
  • 1/2 tsp. almond extract
  • sliced almonds

Directions

    Mix ingredients (except egg white and almonds) together well. Pour in a 9 x 13-inch pan.

    Beat egg white.

    Pour over top.

    Place sliced almonds on top.

    Bake at 350° for 25 minutes.

    Cut into squares.
