  • 3 eggs
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 3/4 c. oil
  • juice of 1 lemon and rind
  • 3 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1 c. chopped almonds or walnuts
  • 4 c flour

    Mix eggs, sugar and oil together.

    Blend well.

    Add the flour, baking powder and nutmeg.

    Mix well.

    Fold in chopped nuts. Grease a cookie sheet.

    Form dough into 2 loaves on a cookie sheet.

    Bake at 325° to 350° for 20 minutes.
