- 2 chicken breasts
- 2 chicken thighs
- celery leaves
- salt and pepper
- 1 c. diced celery
- 1 c. diced onion
- margarine
- 6 oz. sharp Cheddar, grated
- 1 (2 1/4 oz.) pkg. slivered almonds
- 1 c. mayonnaise (preferably Hellmann's)
- plain bread crumbs
Directions

1Cook breasts and thighs in water with salt, pepper and celery leaves.

2Simmer until tender.

3Cool, bone and dice.

4Saute onions and celery in margarine.

5Combine chicken, onions, celery and cheese with mayonnaise and almonds.

6Place in casserole (preferably rectangular).

7Sprinkle top with bread crumbs.

8Bake at 350° until bubbly and golden.
