- 8 oz. almond paste
- 4 oz. sweet butter (room temperature)
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 3 eggs (room temperature)
- 1/4 tsp. almond extract
- 1 Tbsp. Kirsch or Triple Sec
- 1/4 c. flour
- 1/3 tsp. baking powder
Directions

1Cream butter, almond paste and sugar.

2Beat in eggs.

3Add almond extract and liqueur.

4Beat in flour and baking powder only until mixed through.

5Do not beat too long.

6Pour into a buttered and floured 8-inch round cake pan.

7Bake at 350° for about 35 minutes until a knife comes out clean.

8When cooled, invert onto platter and dust well with powdered sugar.

9Freezes well.

10Also keeps for 3 to 4 days.
