Almond Mini Chip Shortbread

- 2 sticks butter, softened
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp. almond extract
- 1 c. Hershey's mini chips semi-sweet chocolate
Directions

1Heat oven to 350°.

2Grease a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan.

3In large mixer bowl, beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add flour and almond extract; blend well.

4Stir in small chocolate chips; pat into prepared pan.

5Bake 30 minutes or until golden brown.

6Cool in pan on wire rack 10 minutes.

7Cut into bars.

8Cool completely in pan on wire rack.

9Makes about 36 bars.
