American-Style Cake Pops

   Put the cream cheese in a bowl and use a hand mixer to mix into a soft creamy state.

   Add the powdered sugar.

   Be sure to take into account the sweetness of the cake that you'll add in the next step.

   Crumble the cake.

   Use a food processor or mixer to make the cake crumbly.

   Add the crumbled cake to the cream cheese mixture and use a rubber spatula to mix well.

   Once you have a unified shape make into bite-sized balls and line up on a baking sheet.

   Refrigerate.

   Once cooled, melt the chocolate by immersing in hot water.

    Skewer the cake balls through the middle and dip in the chocolate to coat.

    Use styrofoam to hold the cake pops while the chocolate coating cools.

    Add the toppings while the chocolate is still soft.

    Once the chocolate has completely hardened they're finished.
