Ingredients

  • 1/2 kg kale
  • 1/4 kg beef, ground
  • 1/4 kg pork, ground
  • 1 onion, minced
  • 1 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp oregano
  • 1/2 cup rice (raw) optional
  • 1 cup tomatoe sauce or 1 cup fresh tomatoes, chopped

Directions

    Boil the vegetable (kale) for 5 minutes.

    Remove from water and separate leaves.

    Mix remaining ingredients together, except tomatoes.

    Stuff leaves with filling and roll.

    Fasten with toothpick.

    Arrange in a saucepan.

    Pour tomatoes, cover and simmer about 1 1/2 hours in a low heat.
