- deep pot (big enough to fit whole turkey in)
- seasonings to taste: Season-All, garlic powder and Tony's seasoning
- butane burner
- 10 to 12 lb. turkey
- 1 peeled large onion
- 5 gal. vegetable or peanut oil
Directions

1Season the turkey as you would season a roast.

2With remaining seasoning, rub over outside of bird.

3Place whole turkey into pot of oil with a temperature of 250 to 270° (it takes about 30 minutes to get oil at proper temperature).

4You can use the onion as a temperature gauge when frying, the onion skin will start to burn before the turkey.

5At the proper temperature your oil will have a slow, rolling boil.
