  • 1/3 c. sugar
  • 1 c. shortening
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 2 pkg. dry yeast
  • 1/4 c. lukewarm water
  • 2 c. buttermilk

Directions

    Combine dry ingredients; cut in shortening.

    Stir in yeast and buttermilk.

    Roll out like regular biscuits.

    Bake on middle rack at 450°.
