  • 1 tsp. soda, dissolved in 1/2 c. water
  • 2 eggs, well beaten
  • 1 c. Crisco shortening
  • 2 c. buttermilk
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 2 pkg. yeast, dissolved in 1 c. water

Directions

    Mix flour and shortening.
