- self-rising flour
- 3 Tbsp. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. soda
- 1 c. Crisco
- 2 c. buttermilk
- 1 pkg. yeast
- 1/4 warm water
Directions

1Sift 4 cups flour with the sugar and soda.

2Cut in Crisco until it looks like cornmeal.

3Place in an another bowl 1 cup flour, buttermilk and yeast dissolved in 1/4 cup warm water.

4Mix well to the first mixture and place on a floured paper and roll wet.

5Place in a greased covered bowl and keep in refrigerator and cook as you need.

6Roll out like biscuits.

7Cook at 425°.
