- 1 c. vegetable shortening
- 1 tsp. soda
- 2 pkg. yeast, dissolved in 1/4 cup lukewarm water
- 2 c. buttermilk
Directions

1Combine dry ingredients; cut in shortening.

2Stir in yeast and buttermilk.

3Roll and cut as desired.

4Bake on middle rack of oven at 450° for 10 minutes.

5Dough may be covered and refrigerated for a week.
