- 3/4 c. shortening
- 1 pkg. yeast, dissolved in 2 Tbsp. warm water
- 1 c. buttermilk
Directions

1Sift flour.

2Add sugar; cut in shortening.

3Add yeast, then buttermilk.

4Knead; place in refrigerator.

5Make out into biscuits as needed; do not allow to rise before baking.

6Bake at 400° to 425° for 15 minutes.
