- 5 c. self-rising flour
- 1 c. shortening
- 2 c. buttermilk
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 2 pkg. dry yeast
- 3/4 c. warm water
- 1/2 stick margarine, melted
Directions

1Mix all dry ingredients with shortening.

2Soften yeast in warm water.

3Add buttermilk and yeast mixture.

4Mix well; set in refrigerator until ready to use.

5This will keep one week.

6Roll out ahead at least 30 minutes.

7Brush with melted margarine.

8Bake at 350° for 15 minutes.
