- 2 pkg. dry yeast
- 1 c. lukewarm water
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 3/4 c. cooking oil (Crisco)
- 2 c. buttermilk
- 5 c. self-rising flour
Directions

1Dissolve yeast in warm water.

2Add sugar and salt to yeast mixture.

3Then add all ingredients together and mix.

4Pinch off the amount you want to bake.

5Make biscuits and turn in greased pan.

6Put the remaining dough in refrigerator to be used as you wish.

7It will keep a long time.
