- 6 c. self-rising flour (use 1 c. on board)
- 1/3 c. sugar
- 2/3 c. shortening (solid)
- 2 c. buttermilk
- 2 pkg. yeast dissolved in 1/4 c. warm water
Directions

1Sift dry ingredients together in a bowl; cut in solid shortening.

2Add buttermilk and yeast.

3Knead on board in towel until stiff enough to roll.

4Roll out and cut biscuits; place on cookie sheet and freeze.

5Keep frozen until ready to cook.

6Place in preheated 400° oven frozen and bake for 10 to 20 minutes.
