- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 3 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 pkg. yeast, dissolved in 1/4 c. warm water
- 2 c. buttermilk
- 1 tsp. soda
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 c. shortening
Directions

1Add milk, melted shortening and yeast to sifted dry ingredients.

2Mix well, form into soft ball.

3Put in refrigerator for 12 hours, punching down if it rises.

4Roll out on floured board and use as desired.

5Keep unused dough in refrigeration.
