Angel Pie Shell Recipe

- 2 x egg whites
- 1 pch salt
- 1 pch cream of tartar
- 7 Tbsp. sugar (not substitute)
Directions

1NOTE: Use Double Berry Bavarian (see recipe) as a filling.

2Have egg whites at room temperature.

3Beat in a nonplastic bowl till frothy.

4Add in salt and cream of tartar and beat till stiff.

5Gradually beat in the sugar, a Tbsp.

6at a time, till stiff peaks form.

7Spread the meringue mix on the sides and bottom of a 9-inch nonstick pie pan.

8Bake in a 275 oven for 1 hour.

9Turn off the heat and leave in the oven an additional 30 min.

10Remove and cold.

11Meanwhile, prepare Bavarian filling.

12Spoon filling into cooled pie shell.

13Refrigerate3 hrs.
