- 1 (17 ounce) can cream-style corn
- 1 medium onion, thinly sliced
- 2 medium potatoes, diced
- 12 cup water
- 2 cups milk
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 12 teaspoon black pepper
- 14 lb butter
- crumbled bacon (optional)
- sour cream (optional)
Directions

1Saute onions lightly in butter.

2Add potatoes and water and cook until tender.

3Add corn, milk, salt and pepper.

4Heat, but do not boil.

5Top with crumbled bacon and sour cream, if desired.
