Ingredients
- 2 cups all-bran cereal
- 4 shredded wheat biscuits
- 12 cup boiling water
- 1 cup shortening
- 3 cups sugar
- 4 eggs
- 5 cups flour
- 5 teaspoons baking soda
- 12 teaspoon baking powder
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 4 cups buttermilk
- 1 -2 cup raisins
Directions

1Pour boiling water over cereal and mix.

2In a seperate bowl, cream shortening and sugar.

3Beat in eggs.

4Add Bran mixture and stir well.

5Sift dry ingredients and add to creamed mixture, alternately with buttermilk.

6Mix well.

7Cover and refrigerate for up to 1 month.

8Pour into greased muffin tin when ready to bake and bake at 400 degrees for 20-25 minutes.

9If using dark muffin tin usually only takes around 20 minutes.
