Another Yummy Chocolate Pie

Ingredients
- 1 baked pie shell (store bought or bake your own)
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 2 egg yolks
- 2 1/2 cup whole milk
- 1 tsp melted butter or margarine
- 1 tsp vanilla extract (I use extra)
Directions

1In a large bowl, sift together the sugar, flour, salt and cocoa.

2Set aside.

3In a second bowl, whisk the egg yolks.

4Gradually add the milk and whisk well.

5Gradually add the dry ingredients and whisk until smooth.

6Pour the mixture into a heavy saucepan.

7Heat over medium high heat and continue stirring/whisking until the mixture begins to boil, which should take 5 to 7 minutes.

8Reduce the heat to medium and stir until thickened, about another 5 minutes.

9Make sure you are stirring the mixture all the way to the bottom as that thickens first.

10Once it's good and thick, stir in the butter and vanilla.

11Remove from the heat.

12Pour into the pie shell and set aside to cool for at least 2 hours.

13Do not refrigerate, or the pie crust will get soggy.
