- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
- 1 tsp. grated onion
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 egg yolk
- salt and pepper to taste
- 18 small bread rounds
- 2 (2 1/2 oz.) cans deviled meat
Directions

1Soften cream cheese at room temperature and cream it until it is soft.

2Add onion, baking powder, egg yolk, salt and pepper. Blend all ingredients thoroughly.

3Toast bread rounds.

4Spread deviled meat on the bread rounds.

5Place a heaping spoonful of the cream cheese mixture on top of the deviled meat.

6Place in a moderate oven (375°) until heated through, lightly browned, and puffy, about 8 to 10 minutes.
