  • 8 cups apples
  • 6 3/4 tablespoons water
  • 3 cups sugar
  • 2 cinnamon sticks

    Peel the apples and cut them into small cubes.

    In a large pan over medium heat, add the apples, water, sugar, and cinnamon sticks.

    When the mixture starts to boil, reduce heat to low and let simmer for 45 to 60 minutes.

    Remove the cinnamon stick and puree the mixture with a hand blender.

    Bring to a boil again, lower temperature and simmer for 20 minutes.

    Remove from heat, pour the jam in sterilized jars, and store.
