- 2 1/2 c. flour
- 1 Tbsp. white sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. margarine
- 1/2 c. shortening
- 1 egg, separated
- 2/3 c. milk
- 1 c. Rice Krispies
- 5 c. apples
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 c. powdered sugar
- 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
Directions

1Mix flour, 1 tablespoon sugar, salt, margarine, shortening, egg yolk and milk.

2Divide dough in half.

3Roll out onto 10 x 15-inch cookie sheet.

4Spread Rice Krispies on top of unbaked crust.

5Add apples, 1 1/2 cups sugar and cinnamon; cover with top crust.

6Beat egg white until stiff and spread over top crust.
