  • 5 oz. can apple pie filling
  • 1 (1 layer size) pkg. spice cake mix
  • 6 Tbsp. oleo, melted
  • 1/2 c. strudel or chopped nut topping (optional)

Directions

    Spray 9 x 9 x 2-inch Pyrex dish with cooking spray such as Pam.

    Pour in pie filling; spread.

    Sprinkle cake mix evenly over filling.

    Drizzle with melted oleo.

    Bake at about 350° for 40 to 45 minutes or until brown.

    Just before removing from oven, add topping of your choice.

    Serve warm with ice cream.
